About Us

We are a child friendly cafe based on the High St in Knaresborough Harrogate.

My aim when opening this café and doing the refurbishment was to provide a safe and friendly environment for young children and their grown-ups, while enjoying some playtime with some food and drinks.

As a Mum of 3 and two being three-year-old twins and a previous foster carer who has had 28 children in total over the years, I can totally appreciate it can be stressful when eating out with our little ones.

They can be unpredictable, get bored, get restless, and l've seen one too many times rolling eyes when my little ones noises are not appreciated by other customers.

That's completely understandable and it's why I felt somewhere like this was needed.

Here we welcome all the noises that children bring, if they are having a moment that's completely fine as we as parents have all been there.

You can relax knowing no one is judging anyone and if you feel overwhelmed come talk to one of my friendly staff who are here for you too.

Inside we have a small play area with pool pit, balance beam, rockets and climbing, we also have a large tv playing children's shows all day.

The play area is for strictly under 5's

We have toys and books and sensory toys on the wall.

We offer a selection of refreshments and specials will be added to the board.

There will be "during busy periods" a two hour time slot offered to customers who are eating and a one hour time slot offered to customers who are drinking.

(Once food & drink have arrived)

This will allow us to be fair with other customers who would like to enjoy the café also.

There are baby changing facilities and emergency nappies & wipes provided for free if you get caught out.
